I went to DG last week...

I went to DG last week for the first time, and it's definitely a neighborhood feel to it (as it's in the middle of a mostly residential area). Prices were great - $7 cover and $4 for a beer - so you could afford to hang out for a while and not break the bank. There were maybe a dozen girls working the tables. The girls were average, but very attentive and not pushy at all. They're as happy to sit and talk as to try to work you for a dance. The bartender may be the hottest of them all and is very friendly. You can get private dances upstairs for $25, bottomless for $60. It's pretty loose - no bouncer hanging over you. The dances are pretty amateur, as are the girls, but the songs are full length and you don't have to sit on your hands...rest is up to the girl. The dancers, and the crowd are a diverse group, and you'll see all types in the room, but it's a very relaxed atmosphere. I'd rather frequent a place like this than the high society clubs where everything's $20+ and the girls don't have a pulse. Give it a try, and I'm sure you'll end up going back...
