So after about six months of...

So after about six months of not hitting any clubs, (mostly for financial reasons) I decided to get back into it. Went to the Diamond last week and was neither wowed nor disappointed.

I went by about 3:30 or so and stayed till about 5:30. They run a dance and drinks happy hour from 4-6 - well drinks $4 and two-for-one lap dances. I like the afternoons because the girls are much more oriented to sitting and talking with you before they hit you up for a dance, and that's my favorite approach. The downside of the afternoons is, of course, that the girl quality is not as high. I gave the club an 8 rating, but that doesn't mean that most of the dancers were 8's. I'd say there were a couple of 5/6s (pretty, but heavy - if you like that kind of thing, you'll be happy). Then there were mostly 7s and 8s and maybe one 9 - no 10s. I've been in this club before when, even in the afternoon, you'd find a couple of 10s hanging out on Thursday or Friday afternoons. Not this time, but I'm planning to give it another chance tomorrow or Friday. (Since this is a downtown club, I think they play to the late afternoon business crowd more than most clubs do.)

I didn't get any laps this time, because I just didn't see anyone that really turned my crank. There was one girl that I would have taken upstairs, but she was already sitting with someone and I didn't feel like trying to horn in.
