I went to Cabaret Royale around...

I went to Cabaret Royale around 9:30 on a Tuesday night after first visiting Baby Dolls. Overall, the club was pretty dead with a small number of dancers and not much action. The girl on the front sold me on an overall $40 VIP package for both Cabaret Royale and the Fare Club (will review that one separately). That was a mistake as the number of dancers in both clubs was low that night. My bad for not asking in advance, but wasn't a good bargain. Sodas were 4.50 (I already drank at Baby Dolls and was driving).

Physically, the downstairs is medium size with one main stage an two side stages. The dancers rotate through all three for a set. Because there were a small number of girls that night, the DJ made most girls dance two dances per station. There are two bars on either side of the stage and then various chairs / tables sprinkled throughout the bottom floor. The two side stages have poles built into the walls, but they are more for safety. I didn't see any dancers using them. The upstairs VIP area was dead. Only a few dancers and one or two guys sitting around. The place is clean, but a little dated and dingy looking. I've been to better clubs, but the club felt safe and clean.

The dancer quality that night was so-so. No one really did it for me, so I ended up only staying until 10:30 (and that was going back and forth between the Fare Club). There was a tall leggy slim blond with a nice body and so-so face. I'd give her a 7, but she wasn't really my type. Also, a tall, slender African American dancer with about the same build. Also a 7 or maybe 8, but again not my type. Other girls were cute, but not really my types. There were was one other dancer that was giving LDs that was my type, but she kept slipping into the back area when she wasn't dancing and I wasn't able to track her down.
