When in Russia ....
Was in Moscow for work, and decided to go clubbing one day, and hit the "Night Flight" bar the second night.
I took a taxi from my hotel to the club. It was fairly easy to find, and I arrived around 1 AM. In Moscow this is fine as the nightlife lasts till early morning, and this club is open until 6 AM weekdays, and 7 AM weekends. After going through metal detector, there was a gentleman who speaks perfect English (a native speaker I believe) who took my coat, and told me the entrance fee was 2000 rubels (~$30). This is more than what was previously reported, but makes sense given current exchange rates. He passed me on to a beautiful (fully dressed) lady who collected the money and walked me into the main room where she sat me at the bar. The room doesn't look all that different from a US stripclub, except there are a lot of beautiful girls. There were maybe about 10 patrons there, and most looked to be foreign businessmen. I paid 450 rubels for a beer, and watched a little of the show. Immediately, several girls came up to me one after another asking for either "dance" or "sex". It didn't take me very long to figure out that dances were 2000 rubels for one song in a private room; and sex was 15000 rubels for one hour in a private room allegedly with bed and shower (of this 10000 for the girl and 5000 for the establishment). Note that very few girls speak any English of note, so this is not a place for conversationalists. I met one girl from Finland who had what I would call acceptable English. Regarding the quality of the girls, it was pretty high with some very beautiful model type ladies working the room At one point all the girls came out together fully naked with pom-poms and danced on the stage while 2 girls had big "Aurora" flags waving them around. That was called the "lineup" and girls would stop by after asking for "sex room". Basically it allowed you to see all the girls up close in one snapshot, and make a determination on who would be "worthy" of your money that evening.
I tried 4 of the girls for private dances. All four were fully naked, and each one lasted about 5 minutes. All tried to upsell to "sex" during the dance. Roaming was allowed for all the girls in all places except for the kitty area. None would kiss, that was "only for sex room". I'd say none were really all that into the dance, and the sole purpose was to upsell. One offered takeout for 10000 rubels and said she could leave the club immediately and come to my hotel. That was the Finnish girl and I passed because I didn't come to Helsinki .. I came to Russia.
In summary, make no mistake about it, this club is about sex. All the girls offer it, and they try to upsell it during normal dances. Bring plenty of cash, and a great time can be had here with some very nice Russian girls.
BONUS REVIEW: I'll include a few highlights of "Flight Club". This club is a Moscow institution and caters mainly to foreigners looking for takeout. There is an excellent restaurant on the 2nd floor where the Swedish chef prepares some great cuisine. I had the Halibut and it was a culinary delight. Interestingly enough, quite a few of the girls will sit up here and eat as well before the primetime action downstairs begins. At about 11:15 PM I was done with dinner (had arrived 10 PM), and I went downstairs. WOW is all I can say ... there were about 30 beautiful Russian girls roaming around and probably 15 men looking for that "perfect" one to take back to the hotel. I talked to 4 ladies that evening, and the drill was the same for every single one. Some small talk (good English for all these girls which is obviously a must), often including ordering her a drink (which by the way at ~700 rubels a cocktail are quite expensive). After about 5-10 minutes of chatting and gentle touching of legs, arms, head, the girl will ask where you're staying and indicate she wants to go there with you. You discuss the price, which varied quite a bit. First girl I talked to said $500 dollars; second girl was 300 euro; third girl was $300 and fourth was $300 with discount available. Not sure if it was the fact it was a slow night (Friday night is less business heavy vs. weekday nights), or the girls notice which guys are rejecting them so the next one sweetens the offer.. Given these are all professionals, probably a combination of both. Final girl went down to $200 after negotiation. My theory is the later it gets, the better your opportunity for a discount because clearly there is more supply than demand (at least this night). There is very limited touching here (girls are all skimpily - but fully - dressed of course), and no kissing. Once outside, all that is out of the window, and you'll get whatever action you're looking for with a beautiful Russian girl at reasonable cost. Some offer to stay as long as you want them there; some will stay all night. There is no reason to come here if you're not interested in takeout, unless you want a good meal cooked up by the Swedish chef. As soon as the girls realize you're not going to take them home, they will quickly leave, and all that "chemistry" you thought you had was no match for the wallet you didn't open up. Moscow, you left quite an impression on me!
