I got to the club around...

I got to the club around 9 or so on a Sunday evening a couple of weeks ago. The club itself is in the basement, down a flight of stairs from the alley. The front desk is at the base of the stairs, although when I left later there was a little podium with a couple of girls posted outside the door in the alley itself.

After paying the cover (only $3 on Sunday) I headed over to the stage. There were very few customers other than myself -- two at the stage and none in the rest of the club, and only the dancer on the stage immediately visible. The bar was behind the stage, but no waitress. It may be that the bar is self serve, or maybe the waitresses weren't on duty that early on a Sunday. In any case, I didn't especially want a drink, so that was fine with me.

Although when I left there were several girls there, I only saw one at a time when I first got there. All the girls I did see were drop dead gorgeous (if you like the slim athletic type, and I do.) While the third dancer was coming on stage, the second one (tall and slender) came around and asked if I wanted a dance. She quoted $25 per dance and took me to the lap dance area in the back of the room. Dances appear to be full length -- I certainly wasn't looking at my watch, but they didn't seem cut short as seems to be the norm most places. After the third dance, she suggested the VIP room, and quoted me $300. I *had* $300, but I'd also just had 3 dances at $25 each, so I told her that after paying her for those, all I'd have left was $225. She tried to negotiate a for a bit more, but I really did just have $300 total, so after a bit of thought she decided she'd be willing to go with what I had.
