what is it with the bouncers...

what is it with the bouncers tonight at these clubs? the bouncer here wanted to be a jerk to one of my friends even though they were cool with me and the others. not sure what it was about them that made them act that way, but they just started giving them a hard time out of the blue (and yes, she is female). then the bouncer turns to me and says that if i want my friend to get in without any "other problems" that i could take care of them and pay them a nominal fee to do that. i was like yeah, like we really want to pay a really high door fee of 50 bucks so that ur not a jerkface to the other girls and dont try to frisk them or make them feel violated going through the door. ugh. ok, so i told him that we would think about it and he gave us a snicker and let us by. nice guy, if u like ted bundy. so anyways we got in and we sat down, and already felt broke by the time we ordered our first drink. the dancers were a little nicer here than the godawful pink gay rhino club we were dragged to. but the prices were really high, and it looked like the servers were dancers, the dancers were servers, and there was an overlap because they were asking for tips and dances and money "just because". the morale was bad here but not anywhere near as bad as the other place we went to tonight. the waitress that came over to help us was nice but then she got switched to another table or something happened. we ended up with a mean ass beeatch that started to talk down to us because we said no to ordering food. we had already eaten not just once but twice, so it wasnt like we were going to order stuff again and again and be too full to walk back to the car after they were drinking and sobering up. pound for pound this wasnt as bad as two of the other places we went to tonight, but it wasnt as good as two of the other places we went to either. in all honesty, even with the hassles we went thru here we'd probably come back at least once to see if things were different. pink rhino was so bad we'd never want to go back there, but jaguars has potential. i think it was just an off night up here or something, or the ppl were on edge about something maybe. my other friend in our group who normally comes up here said that none of the regular people were there tonight. they were all at pink rhino for some reason. oh well. theres always next friday night i guess. the biggest prob with jaguars i think was the bouncer and the rude waitressing. their drink prices are expensive, but if the ppl were nicer it might be more worth paying it.
