Went here on a Wed, night...
Went here on a Wed, night around 9 PM. There was a $5 cover and the place is more of a neighborhood bar rather than a "strip club". I sat at the bar and tried to order a gin and tonic but the bartender said "we have no tonic" The waitress was around a 7-8 but she didn't smile much and was generally very miserable. The place had one fairly large stage with multiple poles and the usual chairs around the stage where you can sit and tip the dancers. There was about 8 dancers when I got there... most were 6's and I'd say 80% were black. After not very long a young blond dancer sat next to me and introduced herself as 'Star'. I'd say she was an 8 and was the best looking dancer there IMO. We had a nice conversation for awhile and initially she was very low hustle. I'd say she was moderately intelligent and she could hold a good conversation. After about 15 minutes she asked if I would buy her a drink. Since she had been sitting with me for awhile and she was fun to talk to I said yes. Of course, the drink was a ridiculous $20 (my beer was $3) but I expected that and thought what the hell. After a while she told me about the hot tub. Apparently this bar has a hottub in a separate room. I have never heard of a strip club with a hottub before and frankly, it doesn't sound at all appealing. I think its a stupid idea. The idea of sitting for a 1/2 hour in a steaming broth of germs with a dancer I do not know in a rather dinghy bar does not sound like fun to me... but maybe that's just me. Anyway she told me the price was $250 for 1/2 hour and she said the time is usually extended. I told her I didn't think that was for me but I think she somehow got the idea that it was a possibility because the rest of the time she kept trying to sell the hottub. At one point she left and went and talked to the bouncer, and shortly thereafter he came up to me and asked "well have you decided about the hottub?" He was not threatening, but clearly the word had got out that I was maybe a hottub candidate. The dancers attitude immediately changed too because all of a sudden she was very high pressure to sell the hottub. Every few minutes she would try to convince me we should go to the hottub and how much fun it would be. She also became much more touchy/feely and started grabbing my legs and putting my hand on her legs which I didn't mind a bit. I was wearing shorts and at one point she put her hand up my shorts leg and quickly touched the 'little guy'. She was clearly trying to convince me to spend $250 for the hottub which no way was I doing. I just kept saying that it was not for me and I was not interested, but that did not dissuade her. At one point she offered it show me the hottub, but I declined and said "I believe you have one!" After awhile, anther dancer who was a friend of hers came up and asked for $3 so she could "get naked". I thought that sucked because I had not even talked with her, but I gave her the money anyway. As is often the case, the bar has a jukebox that the girls must put money into in order for songs to play for their 3 dances. Again, an obvious ploy to get customers to spend their money. This convinced me that I must have had 'sucker' written all over me and shortly thereafter I left. The other dancer also asked about the hottub, saying that it would only be $500 for the two of them in the hottub together! Were they CRAZY!? It's a shame, because, I probably would have gotten a lap dance from Star had she tried to sell that instead of trying to get greedy and trying to sell the hottub. She said the private dances were $60 for 3 songs and it was in a separate room so I suspect the mileage may have been pretty good.
