Not a bad club. If...
Not a bad club. If you're coming from Nashville, be aware that it's easy to miss this place. You drive through Smithville, past the shopping area, then on a ways, and you come upon it all of a sudden on the left if your heading east. The name (Midnight Express) is in a sort of logo on the sign, and hard to figure out when you're driving at 40 mph. It also says Gentlemans Club, or something like that, and that's the easiest way to spot it.
Really big club. You'll see from the outside that part is two stories high. When you enter and pay the big fat buy behind the glass wall, you enter a long and wide hallway with restrooms on the left and a pool table. Not sure what they were thinking when they designed this place. I guess they thought people would hang out here where the strippers weren't. Go through the hallway and you reach the two story area, where the dancers are. Bar on the right as you enter, they actually serve beer. Stage on the left. Sit by the rail, because that's where the action is and you'll be ignored if you sit at the bar or the tables in the middle.
Dancers give good attention to the folks sitting at the rail. No 3 foot rule here like in Nashville. To the right of the stage are three private rooms, with a curtain. Behind that is the couch dance room, a long room with seating around the walls. No privacy, and the DJ is in a raised area above the stage so he can look in from above on the couch dance room. Very big brother.
