There's not much to recommend about...

There's not much to recommend about Tattletales but it's the only club in town. On a Friday night there was a small crowd of locals hanging with about 10-15 girls working. It's in an OK area in a dated building, and decor is spartan As you approach the entrance the bar is to the right, the club to the left. By law alcohol can't be sold in the same building where dances are performed. So you go to the bar, no cover, where beer is only $3.00. No smoking by ordinance was, for me, a pleasant change Dancers not on rotation lurk in the bar mingling with the clientele. No hard sell, the dancers friendly, and the relatively clean air was actually quite pleasant. The bar fills with dancers searching for marks about every half-hour for the two-for-one dance specials. Dances are $20 per song and you physically leave the bar to enter the adjoining club. Cover charge is a modest $3.00. The back of your hand is marked so you can move between the two rooms as often as you want. The club has the ubiquitous stage with stripper pole and a rather crowded couch area for lap dances. It becomes very crowded during two-fors and almost empty otherwise. Dancers wear bikini bottoms with pasties. No touching allowed. There's a small VIP couch "room" that's hardly private where 30 minutes cost you $100. Dancers were pretty local talent in the 5-7 range. Ages ranged from 20s to 40s.

I sat at the bar and had a few cold ones while chatting up nice looking blonde who tended bar too. I was interested in her but she was called to the stage when she returned some regulars had come in and she chose to hang with them instead of making money. Did a two-for with the first dancer who asked me and got an uninspired lap from her. Made several trips between rooms but spent majority of the time in the bar. Got interested in a nicely trim but soft 20-something, brunette, with small boobs. Did a two-for and extended for two dances prepping for some possible take- out. She gave me the OK to touch more aggressively, which I did until the bouncer admonished me. Her signals were encouraging; she had a sizable fine due to the club. So I took her back to the VIP for private negotiations. It became clear half way into the VIP session that I was being played so ,to her great surprise, I said "Nice to meet you. Too bad you'll have to look elsewhere for that fine money. We're done!". I stmood up and left.

In summary, consider Tattletales a bar, not a strip club.
