Looks a little seedy (and it's not in the greatest neighborhood, though walking with purpose tends to keep folks from approaching you), but don't be put off. If you've only been to strip clubs that serve alcohol (and even some that don't, such as those on Broadway in SF), you'll be amazed at what you can do in the back rooms.

IMO, the trick during dayshift (which is when I absolutely prefer to go) is to hang back and wait for a dancer who will come up with more than a "Wanna dance?" There are usually at least a couple during every shift, who come sit down, and actually talk with you. In my experience, these are the ones who, assuming you're attracted, will give you the best experiences.

The lap dance area is a U-shaped room with vinyl booth-like seating around the walls. My favorite is to commandeer a corner and pay the $40 for a topless lap dance. (It's only $20 if she keeps her top on, and some folks do prefer that, but not me.) Most girls will give you a song and a half or so for that, and it's a serious grind, with the ability to fondle her breasts (hence my topless preference). The dancer will typically ask at the end if you want another, or if you want to go private. A private dance is $100, most often for three songs (some will say two, IMO that's a signal to decline -- be sure to ask BEFORE you go into the back how long it will be). Once inside, you're at least in for a grind better than you got in the lap dance area, done fully nude. Your "access" will depend on the dancer, and might be the subject of further monetary negotiation, but it's also true that hand jobs are reasonably common, and more can be had from some dancers. For the right price.
