I've been to St. James a couple of times. No problems at all. And I've been to many other clubs around the country for many years. But I've never had a situation like I had this past visit. It was pretty quiet on a Sunday afternoon. I got a private dance from an older blonde (don't remember her name). The first dance was going fine nothing exceptional, and definitely no hint of extras at that time, and the song ended. I know enough to keep a running verification of the song count with the dancer. I said, "that's one song, right?". The dancer immediately stood up and said, "ok, we're done here." I was not being aggressive whatsoever. And she was ready to do the next dance before I asked to confirm the song count. If she was planning on ripping me off and got pissed, it still made no sense. She could have at least gotten a couple of more legit dances from me. After years of going to strip clubs, have I really somehow failed to hear that it's common knowledge that confirming a dance count is code for "I'm a cop" (???) Weird. Oh well, I wasn't interested in staying after that. Went south to the Galleria clubs for the rest of the evening.
