Fantasia is still pretty much the...

Fantasia is still pretty much the same as always. Sometimes there are a lot of physically fit attractive young dancers, sometimes not. I arrived for my last visit on a Monday during the overlap between day and night shift. There were 15+ dancers there between both shifts with about 2/3 of them on night shift. As has been the trend lately the majority were a little more on the BBW end of the scale than I prefer. Only one of the day shift girls and 2-3 of the night shift dancers were the type with which I'm willing to spend for a VIP dance.

Brandy was there on day shift. She has come and gone several times over the past year or so and rarely stays more than a few weeks but when I've been able to get a dance from her it has always been a memorable one. She does expect a little higher tip than the norm for Fantasia but you can negotiate her down from the ridiculous level she starts at, just not all the way down to what most of the other dancers will accept. She is honest about it and once upstairs will honor the deal you made downstairs without any drama. When I arrived a little over an hour before the 8 p.m. end of her shift she was sitting with several other dancers so I asked her if she would like to come talk to me about a dance. She said she would be over in a few minutes but never joined me. About 7:30 I approached her again and she did talk to me for a few minutes but informed me she was tired and ready to go home and didn't feel like doing any more dances. Of course by this time it was a little too late to see if any of the other day shift girls were interested. Fortunately the only other dancers I was interested in that Monday were working the evening shift.

There were a couple of night shift dancers who were working their first week as dancers anywhere. One showed a little more potential than the other. There was another who had been there only a few weeks who said she had danced at another upscale club in Huntsville. Bella was very attractive and friendly. When I first arrived she was sitting with another customer. After I was unable to get a dance from Brandy, my interest shifted to Bella. When the customer she was sitting with got up to go to the men's room I took the opportunity to introduce myself and inquire about the possibility of a dance. She said the patron she had been sitting with the entire hour-plus I had been there was ready to do a dance as soon as he returned. I asked if she could check with me when she was done and she agreed. But another customer who arrived while she was upstairs managed to whisk her back upstairs almost as soon as she reappeared. Apparently he already had several dances from her in the few weeks she had been at Fantasia, so I could understand she wanted to take care of her regular. When she reappeared after a 5/$80 I asked her if she was ready to do a dance with me. She apologized sincerely but said she had come down to take a smoke break and then had another 5/$80 to do for the same customer. WTH? As the pickings were pretty slim that night I agreed to wait until she came back when she promised me she would be "all mine". After the dance she came and sat with me just long enough to say she was going to freshen up. She then returned to my table a few minutes later and we chatted for a short time before talking business. Just as we were both on the same page and about to head up she was announced as the next dancer on stage. Once they've been announced they have to do their rotation, so I had to wait another three songs, then allow her to freshen up again before FINALLY heading upstairs. At this point I had been in the club around three hours. If there had been plenty of attractive dancers to watch and tip onstage it could have been enjoyable and the time might have passed more quickly. But when I was only interested in watching one out of every three or four dancers that took the stage it seemed like forever.
