There has always been a laid back atmosphere at Diamond Jim's and that hasn't changed with the new management. On the weekends there are always a good mix of single guys and couples in the club which makes it very friendly. This probably has something to do with the fact that Beloit College is so close. The weekdays have 4-6 girls working after 7pm and the weekends at least double that number. Every time I've been in there, all the girls seems to sit with regulars between their stage dances. Most of us complain about girls hustling for dances, but my experience he has been the opposite... There have been nights when I've had $40 burning a hole in my pocket and couldn't get a dance because the girls would come off the stage and go directly to sit with a regular and have drinks.

They have two stages, but the second stage isn't usually in use during the week (unless there is an event). Girls dance for three songs on stage and usually get topless during the first song and then their bottoms come off during the second song. If you're sitting at the stage, most girls won't hustle you for dollars, but there are a few that will dance six or seven times in front of you and expect a buck each time. I like giving the girls dollars, but I don't like being singled out as an ATM machine. That being said, it happens very infrequently, especially on the weekend when there a more patrons giving money.

The lap dances are excellent. Remy is a dancer I've seen here off and on and she gives the absolute best lap dances! You will not walk away unhappy. But I warn you: she is addictive! She knows just what to do and where to touch you as the song is ending and it takes an act of God for you not to giver her another $20 to continue for another song. That's a good thing or a bad thing depending on how much money you brought! Remy aside, I've never had a non-enthusiastic lap dance from any of the girls at the club.
