I've been to the admiral quite a few times over the years. And really got to know the place a bit better when I became a finalist in a burlesqque contest spanning a few weeks. I thought it was great that alot of the dancers really had diverse looks and incorporated their personal style into their presentation on stage and on the floor. I feel there was a girl for every taste and they were fun and easy to talk to with alot of personality. The $10 table dances are really reasonable and for the most part they make it fun and don't just stand there with a vacant look on their faces like some do. I didn't try the private rooms, so I can't speak on that, but I heard they were worth it for the atmosphere and privacy.

The decor and atmosphere is pretty nice itself, but nothing special. They make an effort to make it look upscale which is nice, but I wouldn't call the actual club a super upscale place. As a performer though, I do have a great appreciation for their stage setup. It really looks like an actual stage theater platform (it used to be one decades ago). I think that is a unique asset to the Admiral atmosphere when you step in.

The one thing I would complain about is per usual with these clubs, whoever is working security staff can range in hospitabaility, if that's important to you. There were some super cool bouncers who really made the customers feel at home, and some who were the usual douchey ones who had to take out their dick issues on customers once in awhile. But in the end, they're not the ones who are doing the dances, thank goodness.
