My girlfriend and I were on vacation in Jacksonville and decided to try this place out based on the reviews we could find and the fact that it was advertised that if you say the password "encounters" when you enter there would be no cover charge for couples. When we got there, however, we said "encounters" to the doorman and he had no idea what we were talking about, but we decided to pay and go in anyway. According to the dancers the place had been sold to a new owner in the past couple weeks and was being remodeled, which made sense since half the place was barracaded by plastic. We only stayed for about an hour and got two lap dances from a dancer named Rhiley(sp?). She took her top off, pulled my girl's shirt down, and they went to town sucking each other's tits. I was very impressed by her skills and my girlfriend seemed to really enjoy it. While we were in the VIP room I noticed that the other dancers were allowing their patrons to full on feel up their tits as much as they wanted, so it looks to me like the menu could have just about anything on it and nobody would be there to stop it. As far as the general cleanliness and appearance of the place, it is pretty much a dive in a not so great part of town. I didn't feel like we were in any danger, but it felt like I wouldn't be at all surprised if a shooting were to occur there. The dancers were generally okay, but a little on the rough side overall. We are talking about going back again tomorrow simply because we are thinking about trying to talk the dancer we met into doing a little couples dancing back at the hotel for a good tip and she seemed like she might be open to it. If someone were to ask me whether or not to go, I would tell them to check it out purely for the liberal touching policy I saw in the VIP room. But, this club is being remodled by a brand new owner, so it might have a completely different atmosphere in a month. As far as thugs, I saw a variety of people ranging from slightly thugish to businessment in suits, so anyone would have fit in okay the night we went. As far as the quality of the girls, they also ranged from pretty damn good to pretty damned raunchy. I didn't see any drop dead gorgeous girls there. When we went to the new solid gold later in the night, however, it was loaded with super cute young girls. The problem with that, however, was that we got there so late, we didn't get any dances or get much of a chance to talk to any of the dancers.

If I were looking to get something more than a lap dance, I would probably try passions again based on what I saw, but I think we will check out some other clubs this week and compare.
