Regular customer at Silky's and felt it was time for an updated review. For the uninitiated, Silky's is a small club located in McKees Rocks. It is fairly small, although comfortable, and houses two stages (only one in use), a sidebar serving unlimited beer/soda, several couches near the DJ booth and an upstairs with both a centralized area for couch dances and several VIP champagne rooms down the hall. The parking is limited but there are other options available within walking distance. $10 is the cover charge, $20 for a lapdance and $75/15 min $150/30 min for the private VIP champagne room with a dancer of your choice. The club can get packed very quickly although the crowds come in waves. Often times, you may find yourself there with only a few other people, even on the weekend. The girls, for the most part, are friendly and sociable and will sit and talk with you before offering a dance upstairs. The quality of dancers ranges from 5.0-8.0 on any given night and there is always a nice mix available to choose from. The DJ, on the other hand, is predictable and rarely strays from the 20 or so generic songs he plays most every single night. The lap dances are fairly priced and most likely offer the most legal "mileage" of anywhere in the city. Ive had my share of both good and bad here so it is important to spend a bit of time with a girl to get a feel for her personality before getting a dance. The VIP champagne rooms are private and comfortable but offer little else than the opportunity to spend time with a girl, a couch and a surveilance camera that is closely monitored. Your best bet here is a couch dance with one of the reputable "regulars". The staff, although not rude, is less than friendly. The dancers usually make up for this and will ensure a laid back and pleasant experience that you just cant get in any of the larger clubs. Almost like a local pub vibe with the added incentive of beautiful naked women. Give Silky's a shot and I promise you won't regret it.
