This review covers two visits, on a Tuesday & Wednesday--both times I showed up at about 5PM & stayed until about 9PM (i.e., I got to see both the day & night shifts both days). This was my first visit to any clubs in Detroit.

Valet Parking is $7. Not being from Detroit, I was a little worried about the "8 Mile Road" mystique and how safe driving around there might be... but I didn't have any problems & was happy to let the guys valet my car and keep their eyes on the lot. I wasn't charged anything for cover either day (came in during day shift). There's a $20 charge to sit in a booth, but there's no charge to sit at the bars (either downstairs or upstairs) or at the small tables that surround the stage or to stand upstairs and look over the railing by the upstairs bar. I didn't pay to sit in a booth & I didn't have any problem with getting dancers to approach me at the bar or at the tables near the stage. Domestic beers are $8.25 & water is $7.75. Not too much hassle from the waitresses if you just want to take it easy and nurse your beer for a while. I also had dinner at the club one night, which was pretty decent. Bathroom troll dude is there day and night.

There were 4-5 girls on stage at all times. Girls dance one song at each pole and then rotate to the next pole. This is way more girls on stage than I'm used to in Chicago (especially in the middle of the day during the week)! At 7pm there's a day shift/night shift review where all the girls walk out on stage at the same time. It's a good time to scope out the talent for the night shift... although pretty much all of the day shift girls take off immediately after this "review"... so if you see a girl from the day shift that you like @ 7pm when all girls hit the stage... you're probably too late, 'cause she's on the way out the door.
