I was staying in Winston-Salem and Winker’s was only a few blocks from my downtown hotel. This SC is located in a non-descript building with Girls Girls Girls exterior signage. There is also a Harper’s sign outside the building (?) which I believe was the previous name for this establishment. The inside of the club was nice as it is bathed in a pleasing blue glow with small twinkle-like lights bouncing off the ceiling. There is a raised two-dancer stage in the center of the club. There are chairs all along the club interior walls, surrounding the center stage, and then small tables with chairs on the floor area.
On the Thursday night I visited I came in early, before 9pm, and was not charged a cover. There was only one other customer when I entered. I found a table I liked that offered a good view of the stage. Kelly, an attractive 7 dancer, soon joined me and explained how things worked since I was a first timer at this SC. Kelly explained since it was a nude club there were no alcohol sales. Also, as a BYOB club, they were also allowed to stay open to 4am versus alcohol topless clubs having to close at 2am in North Carolina. Kelly told me table dances were $10 and topless, lap dances were $25 and were topless or nude at the choice of the dancer, YMMV. Fantasy Room dances were $50 and fully nude. On this Thursday night the Fantasy Room dances were a special 2 for $50.
Only two dancers were on duty when I entered the club, Kelly and an attractive black dancer that called herself Diamond. During my two-hour stay on this evening 4 more dancers came in for a total of 6. All 6 looked to me under 30, thin, leggy, and ranged from a 6 to the most attractive, to me, Diamond. 4 of the 6 dancers were black. The stage dances consisted of 3 or 4 songs, three of the dancers removed their bikini tops and one of the dancers did her last song fully nude after some stage tipping. Three of the dancers would move their thong to the side if you were standing at the stage with money in hand during their stage dances. Being a slow night, with not many customers, there were two dancers at a time on stage most of the time. My take was they were dancing two at a time to combat boredom and to help the time past. Plus the music was good. The DJ was excellent playing full-length songs ranging from current hits to old school Rock favorites.
