I’ve been to Blush on previous...

I’ve been to Blush on previous trips to the burgh. The basic gist of this place remains the same but a few small changes have increased my interests. Still not sure it is worth going out of you way for unless you find someone special here. Anyway, here is a summary o my last two visits.

This is a very small club in the heart of downtown, basically right next to the convention center. On one hand it is super convenient if you are already doing business near by. On the other hand, it is hard to justify the amount of effort required to make a special trip. There are several parking options near by including the parking garage across the street. However, parking is not cheep downtown and this adds to the costs here. Downtown traffic is also a headache.

Lat two visits, I was here from approximately 1:45p to 4:30p on a Saturday. It’s the only day shift option around. I was pleasantly surprised. Walked in, no one was checking IDs or collecting cover at the door. Odd, but ok. (Note there is still a $5 off cover coupon on their website.) Bar tender came over and said it was a one drink minimum. Net $5 in the door including tip. Lighting still sucks here: too dark for my liking. However, some things have improved. Most notably it appears that this is now a non-smoking club. No ash trays out and no one smoking. Hustle factor was also way down compared to previous visits. If you were sitting at the stage or side tables most of the girls left you alone. Although, may have been a day shift thing. Still on the cold side in the club but not as uncomfortable as previous visits.
