Let me start of by saying that I’ve been to McKeesport a few times over the years. However, this (May trip) was the first time I had the opportunity to check out Beemers. For some reason, every time I’m in McKeesport I get lost. Usually I wind up in the wrong lane at an intersection or make a wrong turn and wind up having to take some crazy roundabout way to get back on course.

After sorting out my navigational issues, I arrived here around 9:45 on a Saturday night and stayed till 11:30. There is a good amount of parking at the club and neighboring businesses. There is additional parking in a lot across the street. When you walk in you first enter the bar area. The manager carded me and there was a $5 cover. Smoking is allowed which is a definite minus and the smog was somewhat noticeable. A little past the bar and down a step or two are two small stages. Seating to the left side of the main stage is a tight fit because of how things are laid out. Further in the back of the club is a pool table area. There are a few small table scattered around the club, but most customer and dancers were mingling at the bar. Music was insanely loud and the speakers were clipping. Ouch.

IMO the stage is somewhat high for viewing. However, it is not as high as some other place in the ‘burgh that I’ve been to. Plus, many of the dancers here are highly interactive at the stage (boobies in face, crotch close ups in face, etc). So, in a way the stage height does work out ok all things considered. The stage interaction was a big surprise because I haven’t come across that in the other ‘burgh clubs I’ve been to. However, I do have some complaints regarding the stage interactions. First, some of the heftier dancers really supported a lot of their weight on me during the stage interaction. I though my chair and I were going to be knocked over a few times. Second, one of the dancers really dug her heal into my back while giving me a close up view. Really surprised I wasn’t bleeding afterwards. Third, one dance broke my money in mouth rule. I really don’t like putting money in my mouth in exchange for boobies in face, but this one dancer would not take no for an answer and insisted I do the dollar in mouth thing. Yuck.
