first time back here in over...

first time back here in over six months. They been through some changes. Ownership is the same a d physically very little has changed, but they're now a bikini bar, with no nudity or toplessness on stage. They also serve alcohol now, and also push about a dozen hookah setups (is tuscle going to need another club feature on it's checklist?). For me the change is for the worse, since I don't drink a whole lot, but I'm all for them doing whatever they have to in order to stay open. Bikini bars can be ok, despite the drunken punks, the hottest dancers in jax can usually found at Gold Club or Emperors. Unfortunately you won't find them here. About 15 dancers in the place, only one remotely worth buying private dance from. Last time I was here the place had half a dozen dancers that could be rated a 7 or 8. Not now. They're more desperate too. As soon as I entered they were on me. Not one, not two, not even three, but four dancers, followed me from the door to the bar to buy the mandatory drink (I think it's still mandatory, didn't even ask) then all over as I looked for a place to sit. Every time I made a move toward a table they rush in that direction to get a nearby chair. It was probably pretty funny to watch. Sort like back at the old MSC in SF (does that place still exist?). Sadly none "were my type". I'd say they weren't anybody's type but one was very pregnant. 15 dancers is quite a bit for a place that size, but the place was plenty busy with customers too, so either I'm irresistible (which would be a very recent development) or they were desperate. I'll let y'all guess. The nice thing about nude clubs is customers spend more of their money on the dancers.

Watch the stage shows for about an hour and a half, saw just about all the dancers, and in all but one case would rather have watched the empty stage. Bought a few private dances from the one exception, young blonde in her early twenties and decent build. They have changed a little. The private dance area is laid out the same, at least on the one end of the club I saw. The dances are still pretty private. Apparently now they technically aren't supposed to be nude, since my dancer kept her g-string (t-bar, whatever) on, but it wasn't in the way a lot. Dances were still very high mileage, but she was really sloppy drunk (another bad think about bikini bars), and I'd never met her before, and it's a frequently raided club in Duval county so I didn't really press to see how far things could go. She was pretty aggressive though! Overall it's looking like I won't be back soon though.
