When you walk in to this...
When you walk in to this place, you get that run down, bottom of the barrel feel. It's like this is where dancers go when they know they've failed. The bathrooms look like they haven't been cleaned in years. I swear, would it be so hard to do a $900 bathroom upgrade from home depot? When your faucets looks outdated, you know that management doesn't care. The stage is in the center. The TVs are old and in each corner. They need bigger TVs. You can always find a deal at Walmart for a $188 HDTV bigger than those. I wouldn't even care if they just had antennas - just show some high definition sports. From the bar, you should be able to see both TVs, but I can only see one well from one end. The private dancing area is partitioned off by a divider. They can do a better job than that with about $200 in drywall and wood. The drink specials on beer are ok. 4 beers for $20 is ok, but they know they can do better than that. If they get more alcohol into the patrons at a better price, they can probably get more money out of the patrons on dances as they loosen up. Suggestion: try doing a $2 drink night on one of the off nights (seems like almost every night is an off night there.) Just try seeing what kind of money can be made by getting everyone sauced. If you want more incentive to get the money flowing, do a 4 for $10 special with smaller bottles or cans.
The dancers look like crap. The only ones I saw there were white. Many had big bellies. Some were just plain out of shape. There was maybe 1 or 2 that had OK bodies, but that was just because they were skinny. I got the impression some of them are on drugs and others are just failed dancers. Suggestion: have a once a week workout with the dancers just to encourage them. Monetary incentive would help. I hate to tear down their looks, but if you visit the place, you'll know what I mean. I've only been to one place worse than this and it had more dancers and a better atmosphere. I did get a private dance and it was in the presence of another two people. Private dances should actually be private.
Pros: Less people (if you don't care for crowds).
