I've been to Showgirls a few...

I've been to Showgirls a few times in the past month, sometimes with friends, and other times on my own. Usually it has been on a Sunday evening.

The club itself isn't too shabby, however be prepared to be very "friendly" with the doorman; he pats you down fairly thoroughly. Pretty spacious with two bars, as well as a good amount of the club dedicated to some pool tables. There is a pretty good amount of seating; at the stage, a few tables, some higher up seats near the bar, then at the bar itself. There are a few seats where the support beams of the establishment will be in the way, but especially on a Sunday evening, you should be able to find a place to sit with a clear view. The washroom (at least the ladies' room) is pretty well kept, for the most part. Drinks are priced basically the same as any other Edmonton club, so no surprise there. Stage shows about every 15-18 minutes I'd say, so you don't have to wait terribly long for the next dancer.

The dancers themselves are pretty good, I've been entertained for most of the stage shows I've seen there. Most of the dancers 6-7s there in my opinion. They aren't pushy at all with dances, either. I've had many a dancer walk by without taking a second look at me. On stage they're pretty interactive, and if you aren't sitting up front, they will try their best to talk you up there by the end of their shows for the loonie games.
