Mark this date on your calendar: February 27, 2005.

I arrived around 9:30 PM on Sunday. There is NO cover on Sundays (FREE VIP rooms has been the latest special) and the place was packed. I didn't see any dancers until about 10 O'clock. And, mainly they were GIANTS.

Anyway the big news was couches. And, not just used couches from the Salvation Army, but new high quality couches. There have not been couches, except in the VIP rooms, at Angels for a long long long time. The couches are small and comfortable and black. Couches weren't the only big news. New bar stools. New Chairs. And, none of this new stuff was here Saturday. I didn't test the bar stools or chairs, but one gentleman after trying a new chair went out to the dumpster and retrieved an old chair with its trademark rips. Nostalgia (sp?) or were the new chairs uncomformtable? I didn't dare test one--too happy with the couch.
