I flew into town on business...
I flew into town on business and cam in the night before my meeting. After landing at DTW, I decided to drive over to Inkster, which I've enjoyed doing in the past but it's been a good six months or so.
I paid the cover and walked in, sat at the bar and ordered a beer. There are three different stages - a larger main stage in the middle against the wall, and two smaller round satellite stages on either side. The bar has maybe a dozen bar stools, and then in between the bar and the main stage there are round tables with bar stools and chairs, and then there are other tables and semi-booths around the stages. The VIP area is up a couple of stairs off to one side. As I found out (I'll get to that), the VIP area has been redone since my last visit so that there are booths with curtains. Much more private than before.
After a few minutes a cute thin dancer came over and sat down. I had just gotten there and wanted to relax a bit first, so we talked a bit but I didn't take her up on her offer for a dance. Another dancer, taller and also thin but a little curvier, came over and we talked for a bit. She offered a dance, we talked about what that might involve and she seemed a little too coy, so I decided not to go with her.
