I've been to Silk a few...

I've been to Silk a few times and came back to check out what a weekend night was like. All in all, not bad. A lot of activity as the dancers were getting a hello in to everyone pretty efficiently. This is a good group setting, and probably a go-to for the UW kids. Dancers are solid for Madison and probably your best bet looks-wise, but don't expect your standards to be met if you're from Texas or Florida or a major city. The girls were up front and friendly but still all business. Extras are unlikely but most of the girls don't take their personas too seriously. You'll probably hear about someone's kid pretty quickly, and cigarettes out back with the girls can be entertaining in its own rite. The shower is probably a bit over the top, but the VIPs are decent. Some of the girls are a little pushy and salesy, and frankly you'll have to bite the bullet if you want a good looking one and its busy.
