In a previous report I noted...
In a previous report I noted that there was a complete renovation going on at Broadway Show girls due to the change over to becoming The Penthouse Club. Sometime in late February they had there grand opening and now it id officially The Penthouse Club. I came in a few weeks after the opening and thankfully they chose to keep most of the staff, which is good because that are very cool and helpful.
The decor of the club has changed a lot. Upon entrance the cashier has moved from the left side of the room to a center kiosk. Entrance is still $20. From there the curtains to the left that lead to a hallway guiding you to the main club has been removed and now just past a curved wall you enter the main club. From here you notice the stark difference from the previous club. The colors have been lightened from a dark red theme to a light, bright blue theme. There are fewer tables that surround the stage area and the main stage is a bit smaller. The second level to the left of where you entered is opened up, they have removed the curtains that used to block the VIP area from us regular people. The main bar is still located in the same area but for what ever reason it appears smaller. The biggest change is that the roof above the main dance stage and seating area has been opened up so people on the second floor can see the main stage. There is a small pole dance area on the second level that has a floor made of glass. From the main stage seating you can look up and see the girls doing there thing from below, it's actually pretty entertaining. To the left of the main stage is a large glass display case/wall that shows off the clubs most expensive drink options. (Dom, Crystal . . . )
The Second floor has remained a restaurant area along with the VIP dancing area, but like the floor below its has been opened up. The VIP bar is to the left of the entrance. There are now table booths that surround a balcony area that dining guests can look down and see the main stage. Apparently the steak house there is really good, but I'll have to try it on a different day. There is now VIP bottle service to the left of the room and private VIP dance rooms to the back of the floor. The most interesting area is the VIP seats directly over the main dance area on the first floor. The manager stated that it was installed for those VIP's who want to lean over the second floor balcony rail and "Make it Rain" on the main stage, and to of course, be seen by those of us below. I think I'll leave that alone!
