I was in southeast Georgia and decided to stop by the Red Carpet Lounge to check it out. I arrived at 8:30 pm. The place is easy to find and there is plenty of on street parking. A sign on the door lists their hours as M-F 4-2 Saturday 7-2 and closed Sunday.
After paying the cover, $5 when I arrived, you turn right and can see the entire club. The main floor area has four rows of small tables and chairs facing a raised square dance stage set near the rear of the club. To the immediate left is the VIP area behind a set of swinging doors. The bar is just past the VIP area and the restrooms beyond the bar. The stage is a raised square platform with a single pole in the center and seating round three of the sides. The dancers feed the jukebox immediately behind the stage.
The few dancers there were all in the 4-6 range IMHO. The dancers and staff were all pleasant and there was zero hustle. It did not "feel" like a strip club. It felt more like a neighborhood bar that happened to have a couple of topless dancers. There was no dancer on stage for my first half hour in the club and long spells between dancers after that. There seemed to be several regulars in the club and the dancers spent their time with them, adding to the feel of a neighborhood bar.
