Usually I go to Sahara, but...
Usually I go to Sahara, but I thought I'd try something different and this club seemed to get good ratings. But it was not as advertised. First, the cover says $11. It's actually $16. It does include a drink ticket, which essentially gets you a small cup of ice with a tiny amount of soft drink in it.
The place was smaller than I expected and absolutely packed. Normally there appeared to be ample seating, but it was just packed on a Friday night. The stage shows are bikini to topless to nude and I'd say half the dancers are fairly attractive, the other half on the lower end.
I was approached by a very cute dancer going by the name of Heidi and she offered me a choice of 3 songs for $30 on the VIP couch or a half hour in the VIP private booth for $180. I asked what the difference was and she claimed that I can touch more on the couch than at the table. But in the VIP booth it's like the couch except it lasts longer. I chose to sample the booth just to see how far things could go. It was VERY disappointing. Granted the dancer was very attractive, and there was touching and grinding. But the booth was under constant surveillance by video cameras and the dancer wasn't even allowed to go topless or show her private parts. I essentially got 30 minutes of a PG-13 lap dance for $180 + tip. At one point the dancer noticed that there was a small (smaller than a dime) size wet spot on my crotch and kinda got creeped out and asked if I had "climaxed". I thought this was a rather odd question since most strippers have men climax frequently during lap dances and would easily be able to tell that such a spot was FAR too small to be the result of a climax. And even though I thought I made a good case, she still spent the rest of the 30 minutes sort of staying away from that area...which made the lap dance even worse than the PG-13 level it was to start with.
