Knockouts is located in Downtown Albuquerque, on Central Avenue, historic Route 66. Despite what an earlier poster said about not wanting to drive and park in downtown Albuquerque, it is safe. There is quite a club scene downtown so there are people on the streets even late at night. Things can get crazy after the bars close at 2:00 AM, but if you are gone by then you shouldn't have any problem.

Knockouts is probably the third best club in Albuquerque, after both TD's clubs, but it does offer excellent value and can be a lot of fun. It has a large central stage where the dancers usually dance one song, but when things are slow, they dance two. The dancers are friendly and attractive, if not beautiful. Drinks are reasonably priced. Table dances are $5 and VIP dances $10. With the right dancer, even the table dances can be great. Try a table dance with a dancer and if she suggests the VIP area, the dances usually get much better back there.

The VIP area is better lit than I like, but you can still have a good time in there. Sometimes the bouncer checks on the dancers, but usually you are left alone.
