This place is no longer Flamingo...

This place is no longer Flamingo Lounge. It is now Little Darlings...which is a part of Larry Flynt's strip club empire, if you will. In fact, if you've spent time on the block, particularly at Hustler, you will probably recognize a manager or two as well as a few dancers. Honestly, I'm relieved that a lot of the girls in this place were fired...I'd rather look at attractive women who aren't nodding off on heroin in the middle of performing "extras"...which, by the way, aren't always what I'm looking for anyway. In any case, there are semi-private $15 dances and the dancers pick music out of a jukebox. Supposedly, they are going to do a bunch of remodeling to bring the place up to standard. Considering the only thing they've updated is the awning, which they simply slapped a Little Darlings sign on OVER flamingo's sign...this is a plus. Apparently here fish tanks will be gone. I guess Larry Flynt doesn't like animals. In any case, only time will tell if this place is going to remain a "block club" or not. In the event that it doesn't, and that's not what you want, I'd suggest finding a new haunt.
