Angels is a small African American...

Angels is a small African American (AA) club. It is a smallish club and I think it may have one VIP room; some of the dancers have mentioned it but I did not see it and don’t know what it looks like.

The club is pretty clean in the main room but the bathrooms are not in very good condition and are often not very clean. This last time I went was during the day shift, I got there around 4:00 p.m. and left around 7:30 p.m. There is no cover charge during the day – I have been to Angles in the evenings before and the cover I believe was $10 in the evenings. The parking right in front of the club is usually free although it is extremely small – last time I went to Angels in the evening I had to park in the lot right beside the club and it was $5 if I recall. The beer cost is the typical for most SCs, $3 during the day and about $6 in the evenings – you have to be careful if you order a specialty drink (e.g. Long Island) b/c then you will get jacked. Dance cost is like most black SCs in Miami - $5 per table dance. The clientele is mostly AA although during the day you often see a few white guys getting their “chocolate fix”. I have been to Angels various times and have never seen any drama – the clientele is mostly young AA guys dressed pretty plainly – not exactly an up-scale professional crowd but like I said I’ve never seen any drama and the vibe is pretty laid back. The music level is a bit too high as in most SCs and since the club is smallish, it is hard to find a place where you can have a conversation where the music is not too loud. The DJ was not annoying and did not interrupt too much at all. The club has one main stage which is in the middle of the bar (i.e. stage is encircled by the bar) and there is always one dancer in the main stage. There is a small stage in the middle of the main room, but it seems girls get on their and dance when they feel like it. The overall vibe is pretty laid back – Angels seems to be a neighborhood type of club and appears a lot of the clientele are regulars who like to hang out, have a drink, look at the girls, and play pool (Angles has one pool table).

Disclaimer: The following part of this review will focus on the dancers. I will describe myself a bit in order to put the review in context. I am a white Hispanic guy in my early 40s but I absolutely love (very attracted to) black women. So my description of the dancers/dances is from the point of view of a white Hispanic guy in his early 40s.
