I normally go to the clubs...

I normally go to the clubs in Minneapolis, but since I work in the south side burbs, I thought I would give the KoD a try again, since it's been several years since my last visit. It looked like they remodeled and maybe expanded or repaved the parking lot, so that was nice. I stopped in on a weekday, after work, happy hour had just ended. They do have a strangest entrance, but cover was low. When I got inside it was pretty crowded with the happy hour crowd. Seemed to be lots of regulars.

I grabbed a table that was kind of in the back so I could observe the crowd action and the stage. A waitress came buy and took my drink order pretty quickly. The girls where pretty nice looking, and of all types. Some enhanced, some natural, some ethnic, some young, others a little older. Even saw a girl who I recognize from Choice. The couch dances, if you can call them that, are right out in the open along the edges of the room. I guess it's cool you can see what a girls dance is like since it's right there on the open, but felt kind creepy watching them even for a just a quick glance. And obviously you are not going to get much more than some one way grinding.

I walked in the back area to the other stage. It was crowded so I didn't stay to see what was going on there. All in all I did not like the vibe of the place. To crowded, couch dances out in the open, and no girls even came by to say hi, ask for a dance, or anything. And that drink I ordered, the waitress never did bring it. So after about 45 minutes I bailed and got out of there for just the cost of the cover. My normal club Choice is so laid back that my expectations for KoD where probably way out of line. Now that I know what it's like, I will give it a another chance someday with a different frame of mind on the way in.
