If there is one thing to do before coming to Sapphire, it is to call ahead and get a limo. Especially if you're traveling with a large group of people. They will cover your entrance fee ($30) and possibly provide you with free drink cards. Just be sure to tip the driver.

Sapphire is huge, but in the words of Del Rio, you already knew that. The floor is cut into two halves with a large curtain separating it. The later in the evening you get there, the more crowded with patrons and dancers it will be. Here's a tip if you are not able to get a seat somewhere either because a floor host won't seat you or there is no "room". Grab the first reasonably attractive dancer you see and tell her that you want a dance from her but there is no place to sit. She'll want your $20 and will take you to an open chair. Order a drink, remove that stupid Reserved sign, get a dance and BAM, you have a place to sit to get lost in the sea of people.

The drinks at Sapphire are expensive. I'm a lightweight and even a coke/pepsi runs $6-$8 with a live event tax of an extra $2. The waitresses will watch you like a hawk flying over a dying baby rabbit in the desert. In order to be seated at a table, you have to have order a drink. Once that drink is near empty or empty, the waitress will take it from your table and you'll be asked to buy another. If you chose not, a floor hot MIGHT boot you from the table for not buying drinks and place the Reserved sign on it. So buy a drink and milk it for awhile.
