I don't go often, but when...

I don't go often, but when I am in the area and have a couple of hours to kill, I will drop by Knockouts. I usually go in the afternoon between 3-6 and it is usually quiet, but there are enough dancers to keep the stage going and I always have a relaxing but enjoyable time including several very good dances.

My last 2 visits have been different. Both times there were not many customers (~5-6) but there were only 2 dancers. The dancers would come on stage for 2 dances and then immediately head for the back room or go outside for a smoke or whatever, but they paid absolutely no attention to me or any other customer. The rotation was 2 songs with a dancer, then 4 songs with an empty stage. Neither dancer was attractive and neither acted interested in me at all.

Now I understand that business can be slow on a weekday afternoon, but if I want to sit in a dark room and have a beer by myself, I can do that at home. If a club is not going to have any dancers in the afternoon, then they should not be open at those hours. After my one beer and about 30 min of boredom, I drove up to TD's North where they also only had about 5 customers, but they had at least 8 dancers, never an empty stage and I had a good time.
