Rick's Ca beret has an ingenious gambit going on. After you pay a $12.00 cover charge at the door, they offer another large fee to access the very large VIP section. The VIP section is almost like another club in itself. For it is in VIP that you will find the best looking girls of the night.

Indeed, if cheap out and not pay for VIP, then you will have to settle for the main section of the club where all the fat girls are. Now if you like women on the heavy side then it shouldn't be a problem. I think the girls have to also pay a fee to work in VIP, but I'm not sure. But it would explain the difference in dancer quality between the two sections.

Most of the customer's this night were in VIP. There were probably over 100 customers in VIP, while the main section only had about 20 at best. There was also something of a party vibe in VIP and the VIP section was fairly lit compared to the main section of the club which is very dark. If you prefer more dark seclusion in VIP, there are private booths in the back.
