I recently began visiting Angel's again after a few months away, and found the club as enjoyable as ever. The dancers are gorgeous and friendly, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the food is good. I recommend the Wednesday special which is a 6oz filet mignon with 2 sides for $5.99. Best steak deal in the area by far!

While less than five minutes from downtown Kalamazoo on King's Hwy, the location gives the impression of being secluded in the middle of nowhere. There is ample free parking, and cover is free before 6pm ($5 after 6pm, couples often free). The club is laid out in a single long room, with a narrow raised runway running along the center with poles on either end. While the DJ booth and 2 smaller stages are situated at one end of the room, the other end holds the private couches and 2 small VIP rooms. The place has always been very clean when I've been there, and there is a bathroom attendant in the evenings like you seen at the higher end clubs in larger cities. Generally the atmosphere is pretty laid back, and even when busy the crowd tends to be more fun than rowdy.

I have yet to find a dancer at Angel's that wasn't extremely attractive. There isn't a set "type", they run a wide range of body type, ethnicity, and age/experience. Definitely something for almost everyone. The dancers have always all been very approachable, friendly and never pushy. The dancers pick their own music, so it fits their styles and personalities, and you don't get the constant repetition you hear elsewhere. While some of the dancers tend to let customers get them drunk, you don't see the obviously strung-out women common to a lot of places I've visited. The dancers often make the rounds of the floor after their sets on stage offering dollar table dances. Couch dances generally run $20, and the VIP rooms run $75 (15 min), $150 (30 min), and $300 (hour, includes free bottle of champagne). Couch/VIP dances are topless, but the more comfortable the dancer is with you, the more frisky she tends to get. I've been able to get to know several of the dancers outside the club as well.
