My girlfriend and I visited Shotgun...

My girlfriend and I visited Shotgun Willie's on a Friday March 16th night between 10:00pm and 1:00am. We were visiting from the local area and this was our second time to the club together. I have been to the club many times over the last 5 years with friends and the club appears to be hit and miss. Overall it was a ok experience but I have been there on other nights where I would recommend it highly.

The cover was $10 for both men and women and features eight stages, and some side tables had poles in the middle. The club is on a busy road in Glendale, with lots of retail in the area. The parking lot seemed safe, and there is no charge for self-parking. The club plays great music, high energy rock and roll or R&B. Drinks averaged around $7 dollars and the bartenders were nice overall. There were no gang related colors or clientele to be concerned about and the club had a good overall vibe.

Most girls seemed nice, and the girls are fairly attractive and fit. It was a rather mixed batch on this shift, some 8's one or two 9's but mostly 6's. Nothing really special. One of my complaints is the "private" dance area--it is not secluded and few dancers seemed interested in dances but more interested in partying. The dancers were mixed ethnicity and the dances we received had the drawback of the lack of seating, no privacy of lap dances and no real touching.
