Not exceptional, but you can do...

Not exceptional, but you can do much worse in the strip club purgatory that is San Diego. At least there seems to be some hope here.

I’m a semi-frequent visitor to San Diego due to work. Overall the town blows in terms of strip clubs. Of the three clubs (pacers/hustlers, deja vu on Midway, and body shop) that I’ve been to so far, the Body Shop is the most tolerable. There is a membership fee to get in and a drink minimum. It’s been a while, so I don’t remember how much the membership card was, but I think only $10, definitely not more than $20. Membership card is good for life so not a bad deal if you go here enough. Last time there it was a one drink (non alcohol since nude club) minimum that was like $5.

The inside of club is on the run down side. There is stage in the center of the club, pool tables in back, and LD booths scatter around the club in various places. Of the places I’ve been to in San Diego, I like this stage the best. The dancers are not allowed to come up to you at the edge of the stage after they take there clothes off, but the set up here gets you closer than anywhere else I’ve been in town. Possibly a grandfather clause.
