I enjoyed an early weekend evening...

I enjoyed an early weekend evening here recently. It went pretty well, although I have to admit that my memories of Tampa are tainting my ability to truly enjoy myself. The guys who've only ever been to a club in Jackson are right to think this is the best place in the city; but regularly, Babes allows women who are "just another female" to dance -- poor bodies, nothing particularly spectacular about their performance, and so forth. I'd have to say that there were perhaps two 8s, the rest 7s or lower, dancing that night. They do 2-for-1 (which by any other city's assessment would be considered a 1-for-1, at $20 per dance instead of $40) quite regularly -- about twice an hour, I'd guess. So, really, reading between the lines, I'd say that they know they're close to pricing themselves out of the market. Nobody (including myself) gets dances outside of the 2-for-1 time period, from what I can see. I enjoyed one stint with Jade, a perky black girl with a good mind and a friendly demeanor; and with (umm ...) Stacy? Spencer? an almost-hard-bodied white girl with braces and very wide shoulders. Both were small, lithe, very much my preference, with perky smallish but not-unproportionate all-naturals. All in all, good lappers, but I miss the smorgasbord of Tampa. I might have to make a trip to Memphis (friendly dude at Babes recommended it) or Atlanta soon. Babes has this funny license by which you can get a cooler or a beer, but they don't sell hard liquor. You're allowed to bring in your own bottle, though; they charge $4 for a "set up", which consists of your favorite soda filling a (plastic, blecch) cup, and another cup of ice, for you to mix your own. I'll be the guy with the Jack Daniels and the pipe, look me up!
