this is by far the best...

this is by far the best club in houston. i always go to clubs outside the city limits because they don't require the dancers to put that weird spray on their nipples, and st. james edges out heartbreakers down south (barely - just because of the private rooms for dances).

the club is actually pretty large, with two floors. a lot of the second floor is taken up by a VIP area and some kind of membership area (not sure if it is the same as the VIP). the bartenders are really cool, and the music tends more towards the heavy metal side. the parking lot is very spacious, and always seems safe to me.

the dancers are generally pretty good, with many white and hispanic dancers and a only a few others. like other reviewers have said, there is not a lot of hustle. if you don't tell the dancer to come over when you tip her on stage, you probably need to either page her or seek her out in order to get a dance. it is very unlikely she is coming to you. i have sat down next to dancers at the bar for over an hour and they don't try to hustle at all.
