Based on the last two reviews I decided to check out Players. Haven’t been there in several years. Arrived at 8:00 on Saturday and there were about 8 to 10 dancers working. Over the next hour and a half another dozen dancers arrived bringing the total to about 20. The place is on the upscale side. Valet parking, $5 cover, bathroom attendant, $5 dollar charge each time you use the lap dance area, and lap dances are $20. My only compliant with the facility is with the men’s room which is small. Only has room for 4 at a time so when the place is crowded there can be a line. Music is played at a level which allows conversation without having to shout. The dancers mostly in the 7-9 range with only 2 in the shouldn’t be dancers category. They have built private rooms for lap dances where the potential for mileage is unlimited. I hope the private room concept becomes a trend in the area. The food has been good there for years so overall a very nice strip club. So why the 5? Of the 20 or so dancers there only about 6 of them willing to give lap dances. The others spent the night hanging out at the bar or in the dressing room. I sampled all the ones willing to give LD’s and none were of the high mileage variety. The only theory I could come up with is that management must be forcing some of the dancers to work Saturday’s who don’t want to. It’s not like they are being paid by the hour so it just doesn’t make sense. Finally got tired of watching them sit around and left around midnight. A club with great potential but for me on this night completely unfulfilled.
