I visited this club for the first time around 8pm on a Saturday night. At least half of the very small parking lot is blocked off for valet only. However it has sort of a dive bar type feel, though they have a guy handing you paper towels in the bathroom. They had the UFC fight going on (non pay-per-view) on a semi blurry projection screen but had only 3 dancers in the club. They had a dancer on stage for a couple of songs, then there was about a 10min gap before the next one performed. After about an hour, there were still only about 5 dancers in the club, none of them very attractive. It was the most bored I've ever been at a club. It seemed more like a bar than a club with about 15-20 guys handing around doing their own thing, with the few girls that were there not really making their rounds.
The club itself had 2 bars at opposite ends of the room. The waitress was friendly, but again, not very attractive and dressed in a ragged looking shirt (non the purposly messy style). It seemed pretty spacious, but if this club had a decent amount of dancers/custormers, there would not be a lot of places to sit. Once the fight was over, I made my way over to Suger's, which is literally the next building over. Maybe it was an off night for Some Beach, but as busy as Sugar's was, I doubt I'll be giving this club a second visit.
