I was at the Penthouse Club...

I was at the Penthouse Club on Saturday January 29th from around 5pm to 11pm. I did not pay a cover but I did have the valet park my car $7 + tip upon leaving. My sprite was about $8 dollars. The Penthouse Club is a topless bar with full alcohol. The dances are topless with two way contact or better for $25 and up. This was my fifth visit with both the day shift and night shift and my third Saturday visit. Starting to figure the club out with Saturday day shift talent being just o.k. around 5pm and the best night shift talent not appear in full force until 10pm. My Saturday recommendation would be to just pay the cover at 10 pm and only do the day shift thing if you are meeting someone. Yes, I am a huge fan of the PHC and I have a favorite there so take my reviews with the appropriate amount of skepticism.

The Penthouse Club is a well lit, very nice looking club. There is a bar just as you get inside the club and a smaller bar area where smoking is allowed upstairs. The stage is surrounded by small tables with two chairs each and on one side of the stage there are some three person tables. VIP booths are on a raised area away from the main stage that cost ~$20 to sit in. The lap dance booths are curtained VIP sections with couches upstairs and there is an elevator. On this visit the smoke level for non smokers is fine and I had no trouble finding a seat or a VIP room all night.

The Penthouse Club is on the semi notorious 8 mile road in Detroit. This is an urban area on the outer end of the city of Detroit. When I visit I stay in Southfield and the PHC is about a 10 minute drive from there.
