I visited Kittens on Monday evening...

I visited Kittens on Monday evening around 7:30. There were three dancers girls and about seven customers. This is a black club and all of the customers and dancers were black. However, even though I am white, I did not feel out of place. All of the dancers were plus size and would take turns dancing on the stage. I would say the girls ranged from 4-5. None of the dancers seems to really have any real skills as dancers, but no one seem to mind. In fact, I was there about an hour and did not see any one get a private dance or tip at the stage. The customers all seemed to be in their mid-fifties and were basically setting around drinking beer and talking with each other. There was no cover charge and I think a beer was $3.00.

One of the girls came over and talked with me. She said she was getting ready to start graduate school and just enjoyed dancing. None of the girls even asked for me to buy them a drink. I did get a lap dance for $20.00 from the girl that talked with me and it was a full grind and hands on, but nothing special. This is probably an okay place to hang out for a while and drink a beer. However, during my visit, there was not a party vibe-just hanging out and drinking beer.
