The Showcase has been in Huntsville...

The Showcase has been in Huntsville a pretty good while--longevity in a strip club probably means they are not ripping folks off and not having too much trouble with LE and one hopes it means they have the more attractive dancers. I was in Huntsville on business, staying over a Friday which I usually don't do. I can't compare the Showcase to the other clubs, there are about 7-8 clubs in the University Dr. area (not too far from UAH), but I was surprised by the quality of the dancers. No 10s, but plenty of 7-8s and about 60% caucasian and 40% African American. The prices were reasonable, a modest cover--3 bucks if I recall. Beer and wine and snacks and the drinks get more expensive later in the evening. I was there from about 8 until close to midnight. I think they stay open til the wee hours on the weekend. I enjoyed a few table dances, topless only, but next time I may try the private lap dance area to see if more is available for a tip. One white girl with long reddish-brown hair was really hot and she was the most friendly of all the ones I met. When you tip a girl while she's dancing, that girl goes around to hug or cheek kiss everyone who gave her a tip. I wonder how they keep them all straight. This one girl has a fine natural looking body--I think her name is Tonya or Tonia? Next time I plan to get to know her better.

One review I read of the showcase complained about the lack of techno music and effects, but I like this more old-fashioned feel; I would rather have better-than-average dancerss and less smoke and mirrors. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised--it had been awhile since I had been to a stip club (I sorta thought internet porn had done them in, but I guess a live dancer is better than a cam/virtual dancer). Now I want to arrange some more visits in the Huntsville area and I will check out some of the other clubs. I hope to report on the private lap dance room and some of the girls by name.
