Visited: Friday Evening

Visited Raider's Reef AKA "the boat" this past friday in the early evening just before 6pm. Parking lot wasn't very full so I knew that there would be only a handful of patrons. There was quite a good patron to dancer ratio upon entry and I avoided paying the 5 dollar cover by arriving just before 6, when the start to charge a cover. Upon sitting down a rather attractive waitress asked me what I wanted to drink and brought it to me in less than a minute and was quite pleasant and wished me well. I must admit this is one of the two clubs in Tucson I like to go to for the music alone! After about 5 minutes or so of watching the dancers on stage (they had 2 stages open at the time). I was approached by a very attractive and well tattooed Latina of about 25-30 years old. Because of the location of the club on the SE side of town there are a good number of Latina dancers. She was very friendly and after one dance on the floor I decided to take it up to the VIP area. I got 2 more dances up there (10 bucks a dance vs. 8 bucks on the floor) The dances were good mostly because I found her attractive and they weren't intrinsically great in there own right. They also have a Champagne room which I believe costs 20 bucks to get into and the dances there are 15 bucks a piece. All in all a friendly club without super intrusive bouncers and generally friendly girls of a good age/race range.
