Wow, what a difference a year...

Wow, what a difference a year makes. In October of 2010 I reviewed this club and commented very favorably about the girls. Now it was just blah on the talent front.

In my previous review, I commented on the layout, all of which still holds true now. I also commented on the drink prices and the fact that the booze is heavily watered down. I will just add that my Jack and cokes ran for $10, I was not charged a cover, and the booze continues to be of a watery nature.

The very prominent difference is in the girls. The crew that I saw the last time that I visited Rouge would have compared favorably to the dancers in almost any club in the country, including some of the larger and glitzier places. I guess that with the recent crackdown on the use of Russian girls, this club has decided to move to more Latina and American fare. The girls tended to be thick and there was a lot of ink in the room. There were also a few fairly ugly girls that I am sure would never have been hired a year ago. Now there were indeed a few Russian girls still working there, but not too many.
