The Appaloosa is probably Colorado Springs'...

The Appaloosa is probably Colorado Springs' best club, which isn't saying much. It is east of town off US 24, just north of Peterson AFB; you need to take Valley St. north to get to Terminal. It's in a large building with plenty of unrealized potential. Seating is awful and uncomfortable. Drinks are inexpensive. As has been remarked upon, probably due to local, restrictive regulations, dances are all air. That was a disappointment. The atmosphere is friendly enough. I'd certainly return, but with a minimum of enthusiasm.
