Looks like nobody's been doing the SC scene in Rochester these days - including me. I thought I'd drop in at my old stand by on a free afternoon and write a review.

I'm glad to say that the Barrel seems to have returned to its low but reliable standards. No cover, cold beer, topless women, no pressure. Perfect.

There was some new blood on stage since I was last here. One school girl/goth wannabe with a nice rack on stage. She was tag-teaming a forgettable blond hanging at the bar with regulars. The music is from a jukebox on stage with the girls. I always laugh when they spend half the song at the jukebox trying to decide on the next song to play.
